O navio SS Nomadic serviu de apoio ao Titanic, ao transportar alguns passageiros e as suas bagagens entre o porto de Cherbourg em França e o navio Titanic, que devido às suas dimensões teve de ancorar fora do porto.
The SS Nomadic supported the Titanic by carrying some passengers and their luggage between the port of Cherbourg in France and the Titanic, which due to its size had to anchor outside the port.

This one has had 1001 functions. During the First World War it served as a patrol ship in France. It was sold twice and in World War II it served as a transport for the troops. In 1968 it anchored on the River Seine and became a floating restaurant. It is said that at that time it deteriorated immensely.

It was in 2006 that the government of Northern Ireland bought and restored it, making it a super interesting museum ship.
The visit is included in the full Titanic Experience ticket. At the entrance they give you a brief explanation about the life of this little ship and then you have free time to do whatever you want.
Eu aproveitei para tirar várias fotografias no interior e no exterior do barco e até experimentei umas roupas antigas que ali estavam. Foi super divertido!

Já que estava nesta zona dedicada ao Titanic e à vida marítima, decidi visitar também a doca de Thomson, cujo bilhete não estava incluído no preço.
Since I was in this area dedicated to the Titanic and maritime life, the Titanic Quarter, I decided to visit the Thomson dock as well, whose ticket was not included in the price.
A doca Thomson foi inaugurada em 1911 e foi considerada a maior doca do mundo naquela altura.

Nunca tinha visitado uma doca seca e achei interessante ver toda a sua dimensão. Estava apenas mais um casal lá e então pudemos visitar aquilo à vontade. O preço foi super barato e apenas nos disseram para termos cuidados em algumas partes para não escorregar.
I’d never visited a dry dock before and found it interesting to see its full dimension. There was just another couple there and then we could visit it at will. The price was super cheap and we were only told to be careful in some parts not to slip.
