Kleine Sheidegg é uma estância de esqui com cerca de 100 km de encostas, a 2061 m de altitude. Aqui se inicia todos os anos o campeonato mundial de Downhill, que desce até Wengen, numa distância de 4.2 km.
Kleine Sheidegg is a ski resort with about 100 km of slopes, at 2061 m altitude. Here the Downhill World Championship starts every year, which descends to Wengen at a distance of 4.2 km.
Aqui podem aproveitar para fazer esqui e outras actividades de neve, ou subir de comboio até o topo da Europa. Podem também realizar umas caminhadas, fazendo um dos três trilhos desta zona: Eiger, Jungfrau e Lauberhorn.
Here you can enjoy skiing and other snow activities, or take the train to the top of Europe. You can also do some hiking, doing one of the three trails in this area: Eiger, Jungfrau and Lauberhorn.
Nós tínhamos pouco tempo para desfrutar da viagem, nunca fizemos nenhuma actividade desportiva de neve e também não tínhamos equipamento, por isso apenas passeamos e tiramos algumas fotografias da zona. Estava um sol incrível!
We had little time to enjoy the trip, we never did any snow sports activities and we didn’t have any equipment either, so we just walked around and took some pictures of the area. It was an incredible sun!
Apanhamos outro comboio e realizamos o outro trajecto até Interlaken. Se quiséssemos podíamos realizar o mesmo e simplesmente apanhar o comboio que ia em sentido oposto. Mas, não tem piada ver outra vez a mesma paisagem nem parar nos mesmos sítios, não é verdade?
We take another train and make the other route to Interlaken. If we wanted we could do the same and simply take the train that was going in the opposite direction. But it’s no fun seeing the same landscape again or stopping at the same places, is it?
Mas, apesar de tudo, preferi o outro trajecto! No entanto, como é óbvio, aconselho-vos a fazer os dois.
But, after all, I preferred the other route! However, of course, I advise you to do both.
A primeira paragem foi em Grindelwald, um dos destinos mais populares dos alpes suíços para a prática de esqui. A partir desta zona pode realizar várias excursões para conhecer melhor a região.
The first stop was Grindelwald, one of the most popular ski destinations in the Swiss Alps. From this area you can make several excursions to get to know the region better.
Achei a vila de Wengen muito mais bonita! Esta talvez seja mais turística e melhor para realizar actividades na neve, mas a passagem de carros retira grande parte do seu encanto.
I found the village of Wengen much more beautiful! It may be more touristy and better for activities in the snow, but the passing of cars takes away much of its charm.
Na altura estava a decorrer um concurso de esculturas no gelo, que achei bastante interessante.
At the time there was an ice sculpture contest going on, which I found quite interesting.
Já estava a anoitecer e tínhamos de apanhar o comboio até Thun. Portanto, não fizemos mais nenhuma paragem, e fomos directos até Interlaken, apreciando a paisagem pelas janelas do comboio que nos transportou.
It was getting dark and we had to take the train to Thun. So we made no more stops, and went straight to Interlaken, enjoying the scenery through the windows of the train that transported us.
