Interlaken

Interlaken é uma cidade nos alpes suíços entre dois lagos, tal como o nome indica. Fica entre o lago de Thun e o de Brienz, que são extremamente belos.

Interlaken is a town in the Swiss Alps between two lakes, as the name implies. It lies between the lake of Thun and the lake of Brienz, which are extremely beautiful.

Aconselho-vos a fazerem um passeio de barco por pelo menos um dos lagos, principalmente se forem no verão. Dizem que a experiência é incrível e que as paisagens são maravilhosas! No Inverno não existem tantos horários mas também é possível!

I advise you to take a boat ride on at least one of the lakes, especially if it is in summer. They say that the experience is incredible and that the landscapes are wonderful! In winter there are not so many hours but it is also possible!

Outra das actividades que podem fazer nesta cidade na região de Jungfrau é a subida no funicular até Harder Kulm, a cerca de 1300 metros de altitude. Aí existe um restaurante panorâmico e uma plataforma onde pode tirar umas maravilhosas fotos da cidade, dos lagos e das montanhas. Mas, só é permitida a visita entre Abril e Novembro.

Another activity you can do in this town in the region of Jungfrau is taking the cable car to Harder Kulm, about 1300 meters highland. There is a panoramic restaurant and a platform where you can take some wonderful pictures of the city, of the lakes and the mountains. But, the visit is only allowed between April and November.

Por isso, se querem visitar esta região e não exceder o orçamento aconselho que procurem um local para pernoitar com bastante antecedência. Eu fiquei no Bed and Bar n. 8 – Adults only, que foi o mais barato que encontrei na região.

A avenida principal de Interlaken, Höheweg, é a que vai desde a estação de comboio Interlaken Ost até à de Interlaken West, que foi praticamente o trajeto que fiz para chegar ao hotel. Aqui existem vários hotéis super glamorosos, restaurantes, pastelarias e inúmeras lojas de luxo. Existe também um casino e milhares de asiáticos que escolhem esta cidade como seu destino turístico.

The main avenue of Interlaken, Höheweg, is the one from the Interlaken Ost train station to the one of Interlaken West, which was practically the route I took to get to the hotel. Here there are several super glamorous hotels, restaurants, pastries and numerous luxury shops.
