Hello, hello! Northern Ireland, previously unknown to tourists, is now a favourite tourist destination for lovers of the Game of Thrones, but not only for them!!! Yes, I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN the show but I wanted to visit some of its scenery for its natural beauty, and to show you, of course.
Um deles foi a Downhill beach, uma praia enorme com um areal super extenso e uma colina muito verde por detrás, onde se localiza um bonito templo ( Mussenden Temple). Esta praia apareceu num episódio da segunda temporada, aqui gravado em 2013, como Dragonstone, o local onde os sete deuses de Westeros foram sacrificados por Lady Melisandre.
One of them was Downhill beach, a huge sand beach and a green hill behind it, where there is a beautiful temple (Mussenden Temple). This beach appeared in an episode of the second season, recorded here in 2013, as Dragonstone, the place where the seven gods of Westeros were sacrificed by Lady Melisandre.
O castelo de Dunluce ou casa de Greyjoy (na série), é um dos cenários mais famosos da série. E é fácil de entender o porquê. Este castelo é fantástico, e apesar de já ser considerado uma ruína, está muito bem conservado. Vale a pena a visita!

As Cushenden Caves aparecem na segunda temporada como o local onde Melissandre dá à luz o bebé sombra. A gruta é bem pequenina mas toda a paisagem em seu redor é lindíssima.
The Cushenden Caves appear in the second season as the place where Melissandre gives birth to the shadow baby. The cave is very small but the whole landscape around it is beautiful.
Murlough bay é uma das mais lindas baías do condado de Antrim e de toda a Irlanda. Foi o local de filmagem da cena em que Theon passeia a cavalo com sua irmã Yara e da cena onde Davos Seaworth naufragou após a Batalha de Blackwater Bay. Apenas consegui vê-la de longe pois o acesso é bem dificil! Ainda assim, vale muito a pena a visita!
Murlough bay is one of the most beautiful bays in Antrim County and all of Ireland. It was the scene where Theon goes horse riding with his sister Yara and the scene where Davos Seaworth was shipwrecked after the Battle of Blackwater Bay. I could only see her from afar because the access is very difficult! Still, it’s worth a visit!
Ballintoy Harbour fica a apenas 10 minutos de carro da Calçada do Gigante e aparece na série da Guerra dos Tronos como Iron Islands. Foi aqui que Theon conheceu a sua irmã Yara.
Ballintoy Harbour is just a 10 minute drive from the Giant´s Causeway and appears in the GOT series as Iron Islands. It was here that Theon met his sister Yara.
E um dos cenários mais conhecidos da Irlanda é Dark Hedges, uma estrada com árvores majestosas cujos troncos se cruzam, que foi mandada construir em 1755 pela família Stuart, como entrada para a sua mansão – Gracehill house. Apareceu na segunda temporada da Guerra dos Tronos numa cena em que Arya Stark escapa de King’s Landing disfarçada de rapaz.
One of Ireland’s best known settings is Dark Hedges, a road with majestic trees whose trunks cross, which was built in 1755 by the Stuart family as an entrance to their mansion – Gracehill house. It appeared in the second season of GOT in a scene where Arya Stark escapes King’s Landing dressed up as a boy.
